Meet Gelish® Master Educator – Debbie Willis 

Location : Pencoed, South Wales

Hi I’m Debbie and I started my nail career back in 1992 and have always worked within the hair & beauty industry.  

I first fell in love with the nail industry whilst working with a beauty therapist in a Hair salon where I was learning to do hair, I was 14 at the time and knew this is what I wanted to do for as a career when I left school.  

I was approached to join and become part of launching Gelish® in Wales I then became an Educator for Gelish® in 2010 where my career excelled. It was because of the fantastic quality of product and how my customers fell in love with the brand I was so dedicated in progressing my teaching career. I went to university to complete my Post Graduate Certificate (PGC) in Education to become a qualified teacher so I could give my students the best teaching experience they could receive. I have now been an Educator for Gelish® for 12 years and never looked back.

I love seeing how my students transform from start to finish and giving them the best guidance and support and watching them grow in confidence I want to continue teaching and passing on my skills and information to students with the best of my knowledge.

What inspired you to do nails?

Working with a beauty therapist whilst learning to do hair, she was so creative and motivational. It was infectious. 

What motivated you to join the Gelish®  team?

Gelish®  was launching in Wales, and the product was simply amazing I wanted to part of this great team. 

How long have you been an Educator for Gelish® ?

I’ve been a Gelish®  Master Educator for 12 years.

What is your favourite part of nails and teaching nails?

Seeing how they transform from start to finish.  Giving students guidance and support and watching them grow in confidence.

What is your goal?

To continue teaching and passing on my skills and information to students with the best of my knowledge.

Debbie Willis found her passion for the beauty industry at the age of 14 and has been in the nail business for 30 years. 

Debbie joined the Gelish®  at an educator in 2010 and Beautiful Images Training Academy began its journey in 2011.

Debbie has a fantastic range of knowledge & experience to pass on to her students, from beginner to veteran, giving the students bespoke training to suit their individual needs.
