Course Booking Terms and Conditions

Please ensure you read our Terms & Conditions prior to booking onto a course.

1. Who can make a booking

Any individual over the age of 18 may book onto a course. By placing an order to purchase our training services, you warrant that you possess the legal authority, right and freedom to enter into a binding contract and that you are over 18 years old.

An employer may book employees onto a course. Certification will be awarded to the delegate.

2. Definition of a booking

A course is deemed booked if you make and pay for a course online or if you make a booking via email or phone. These terms and conditions apply from the point of making a booking.

3. Making a booking on behalf of another person

If you have booked the course for another person, these terms and conditions shall be binding on you and the participant and references herein to “you” shall mean or include “the participant”, where appropriate.

If you book a course on behalf of another person, you confirm that they have authorised you to do so on their behalf. You confirm that you have made them aware of these terms and conditions and our privacy policy and that they have explicitly consented to the processing of their personal data and receiving communication from us relating to the course booking.

4. Course Selection

It is the responsibility of the delegate to ensure that the course they have selected meets their specific requirements and they have the pre-requisites & kit required. Completing and paying for your booking means you have read, understood, and agree to the terms & conditions along with all pre-requisites required.

5. Kits/Products/Tools

Kits/products purchased for training purposes must be checked on delivery. It is the delegates' responsibility to make sure they have the correct products and tools for the course they have booked. Kit products are to be unused until the first day of training. Gelish MT UK cannot be responsible for course kit products that have been opened and used prior to the training.

6. Cancellations

Cancellations must be made by email.

50% of the course fee will be charged for cancellations less than three weeks before the course date.

100% of the course fee will be charged for cancellations less than 2 weeks before the course date.

7. Transfers

You are entitled to transfer your booking onto the next training course that has availability. The transfer option only applies to delegates who are transferring to a different date for the same course and the date must be specified at the time of the transfer.

The transfer is free of charge if you notify via email more than 14 days before the course start date, otherwise the following applies:

Transfers made 7 days prior to a course will be charged at 25% of the course fee.

Transfers made 0-7 days prior to a course will be charged at 50% of the course fee.

Please note once you have transferred your booking you will not be entitled to a refund, and you cannot transfer your place more than once.

Delegates may transfer the place to another delegate's name up to 7 days before the course by email, any changes after this time will not be accepted.

8. Non-attendance

Any delegate failing to attend without notice will still reflect a bona-fide booking and no refund, transfer or substitution course will be given. A further course fee will be payable if a re-booking is made.

9. Joining instructions and attendance

Full joining instructions including course date, start time and venue will be provided by your educator when you have booked. It is the responsibility of the delegate to arrive on time and attend the entire course in order to qualify for certification. Courses have a minimum contact hour stipulation and numerous case study completions as part of the certification criterion. Candidates who arrive late may not be admitted if the instructor feels that the learning outcomes of the course may not be achieved. In such instances no rebate will be made.

10. Cancellation by Gelish MT UK

In the rare event that unforeseen circumstances result in a course being cancelled, we will re-schedule training with as short a delay as possible or offer a free transfer. Any costs or loss of earnings incurred are entirely the delegates' responsibility. Gelish MT UK does not accept any liability for reimbursement of costs or loss of earnings.

11. Change of Venue

On very rare occasions we may need to change the training venue at short notice due to circumstances out of our control. In this situation the delegate will be given the option of attending the course at the new venue or transferring to another course. Any costs or loss of earnings incurred are entirely the delegates' responsibility. Gelish MT UK does not accept any liability for reimbursement of costs or loss of earnings.

12. Certification

It is the responsibility of the individual or organisation making a booking to provide the correct details of the delegate's name as it should appear on the certificate. We reserve the right not to issue certificates where an invoice remains unpaid as issue of a certificate is included within the course fee. Certification will be awarded to the delegate.

13. Rights of admission

Gelish MT UK reserves the right to refuse admission to any delegate exhibiting unruly or anti-social behaviour to either the trainer or other delegates. Any such incident will result in the immediate removal of the offending party and no refund will be issued.
