Our Q&A with Monika:
What year did you start doing nails?
I left school at 16 and went to study beauty therapy, which I did for 2 years. Once I completed my manicure training, I booked on to do my first Gelish course in 2014
What inspired you to do nails?
It may sound bit strange but it was nail content I’ve seen on social media. Seeing all the creativity out there from other artist made me want to do it myself.
What motivated you to join the Gelish team?
Gelish is the best brand in nail industry with the best education system. I wanted be part of their team as they always innovate and that’s what this industry is all about. It’s constantly moving forward and that’s what I wanted to do with my career.
How long have you been an Educator for Gelish?
I have recently joined the team in 2023.
What is your favourite part of nails and teaching nails?
My favourite part of nails seeing how it evolved over the years into nail artistry. Seeing how nail enhancements can transform the look of the nail completely. Giving students guidance and slowly building their confidence in performing nail treatments.
What is your goal?
My goal is improving my skills further and further to be able to inspire others. I would love to take my nail designs to another level by learning micro painting and teaching it in the future.
