Hi, I’m Tiessa Esteves, a beauty and nail educator with 20 years of experience in the nail industry. Nails have always been my passion, and over the years, that passion naturally grew into teaching. For the past 2 years, I’ve been an accredited educator, sharing my knowledge across nails and a variety of accredited beauty courses. I truly believe learning never stops, and I love growing alongside my students while helping them feel confident and capable in their careers.
What year did you start doing nails?
I started doing nails 20 years ago.
What inspired you to do nails?
From early on, I knew I wanted a career in beauty, and nails quickly became my passion. Teaching has always been close to my heart, as I graduated in Education as a Portuguese and English teacher, which is where my love for teaching truly began. Becoming a beauty educator felt like the perfect way to combine both passions—sharing my knowledge, inspiring others, and helping students achieve their goals.
What motivated you to join the Gelish team?
Joining the Gelish Education Team was a dream come true. I’ve been using Gelish for many years and truly believe it’s the best brand I’ve ever worked with, so being approached to represent and educate with a brand I genuinely love it and it is incredibly exciting.
How long have you been an Educator for Gelish?
2026 will be my first year.
What is your favourite part of nails and teaching nails?
My favourite part is connecting with students and supporting them throughout their journey. I’m constantly inspired by their dedication and passion, and there’s nothing better than watching their confidence grow as their skills develop.
What is your goal?
My goal is to continue helping both aspiring and established beauty professionals grow, learn, and succeed. I want to inspire confidence, encourage ongoing education, and remind everyone that no matter your level, we’re never done learning.
